Built On Experience
Lab Couriers was founded by CEO Jacoby Pittman, whose career in logistics began with service in the United States Army. There, he developed the discipline, accountability, and leadership that continue to shape the company's culture today.
Following his military service, Jacoby built his career in medical logistics, beginning as a medical courier before advancing into operations leadership. Over the years, he gained firsthand experience transporting medical specimens, supporting healthcare providers, managing complex logistics, and leading large courier operations across North Carolina and South Carolina.
That journey provided a unique perspective from understanding the responsibilities of a courier on the road to leading high-performing teams and developing operational strategies that support healthcare organizations every day.
Today, that experience serves as the foundation of Lab Couriers.
